A cosy Tea Room
In collaboration with Ioana Sabau, I designed and painted by hand this mural for the Alzheimer unit at Trefula House. The purpose of this project was to bring colour and brighten the tea room of the care home, creating a more homely space for the unit’s patients. Being mindful of the nurses’ advice we received, we took our inspiration from 1970’s tea rooms, furniture and colours, with the intention to recreate a familiar environment that evokes patients’ positive emotions connected to their youth.
