Dolo-vini-miti
I took part in a competition launched by Spazio Piera, asking local artists to create an illustrated poster for the Dolo-vini-miti wine festival. The challenge consisted in coming up with a personal representation for the theme of CREATION: “the act of creating, to bring something to life from nothingness, to shape and mould the world through an alchemy of ideas”.

The challenge consisted in coming up with a personal representation for the theme of CREATION: “the act of creating, to bring something to life from nothingness, to shape and mould the world through an alchemy of ideas”.
For this piece I was inspired by the sacred connotation that wine has in the ancient Greek tradition and Biblical writings. The image portrays a wine vase, decorated with a feminine figure step-.ping on grapes to make wine. When the wine comes out of its beautiful container it transforms into a spring of clear water populated by fish and flowers. This happens thanks to the dance of the other three women, generating and feeding an endless stream of creation.
The illustration is painted in monotone watercolour and recoloured digitally.
